Easy day. 9 miles. Second glass of wine, 3rd plate of olives. Feet up in the sunshine. Reservation made for tomorrow. Just met the 4 British ladies who are traveling together, having left their husbands and lives behind. They booked all their habitaciones in advance and their luggage meets them each day. There are many ways to travel the Camino!!
We just bought tomorrow's breakfast from the man you see in the photo. As he painstakingly cut each piece of cheese by hand, he told us that this town is too "tranquilo" in the winter and very sad when there are no peregrinos coming through. Population:80
